About AmCham

The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is one of the largest American Chambers outside the US, the largest international chamber in Hong Kong and one of the most dynamic and influential international business organizations in the Asia-Pacific region.

AmCham members are united in the belief that an economic system based upon free trade, open markets and private enterprise creates employment, prosperity and stability. Our 15 industry-focused committees ranging from Law, to Arts & Entertainment are run by members appointed as Chairmen. Through this platform, members can propose event ideas and AmCham initiatives, as well as discuss issues affecting your business sector. Events and Resources

AmCham presents over 300 events, digital seminars, and conferences a year, featuring top business and government leaders, industry experts, and professional facilitators, addressing timely and relevant issues. Our signature events include the Future of Work conference, Women of Influence Awards and the Thanksgiving Luncheon which is often attended by senior US and HK government officials. 

With over 1200 members, the Chamber network also offers a wealth of resources such as legal advice, industry research, partnerships and even discounts.  

Professional Development

We offer several initiatives to help future, and existing employees gain an edge in their careers. The existing Future Leaders Program puts a competitive selection of under-35 junior managers through a series of workshops and field visits, and we’re always looking to introduce new programs just like this to further develop Hong Kong’s talent.

Government Advocacy

The Chamber, and particularly our committees act as a bridge between the business community and governments of the Hong Kong SAR, Greater China, Macau and the United States. Impart real change with our yearly government submissions as well as

About InvestHK

InvestHK, the HKSAR Government’s department dedicated to attracting and retaining foreign direct investment, has the mission to help overseas and Mainland companies set up and expand their business in the city.

It provides one-stop services which range from the provision of the latest information on Hong Kong’s business environment, such as tax and business regulations; business support facilitation, such as assistance with business licences or visa applications and advice on living and working in the city; introduction to business contacts; arranging visits with service providers, professional associations and government officials; marketing, PR and networking opportunities. InvestHK’s services are free, confidential and customised.
